Regularly Scheduled Programs


Lunch : Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 12:00

Reservations must be made by Wednesday of the previous week at the lunch reservation cart or by calling the desk. If you don’t see your name on the list, add it.  Suggested donation is $3.00 per meal.

Special Sandwich lunch on Monday. Orders will be taken Wednesday the week prior and must be paid at the time of order $6. 

Zumba: Mondays or Wednesdays at 9:30 am

Zumba is fun…it’s the type of exercise you’ll want to do every day and feel good about doing it! It’s different. You probably never thought you’d be exercising to this type of music. It’s effective. It is an aerobic workout, which we all know works. But it’s more fun, which will make you stick with the program until you get results. Six week session is $30

Bodies in Motion: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:00 am

Enjoy this easy-to-follow free class with up-beat music.   It can be done seated or standing at your own pace and skill and safety level. It uses a combination of weights and resistance bands, as well as several body weight exercises. You will find it fun while focusing on your breathing and improving your balance in order

to reduce your risk of falls.

Technology Assistance: Mondays and Wednesdays, 1:00 pm

Wheel of Fortune: Mondays at 1:30 pm

You can play either in person at the center or via zoom. If you prefer zoom please contact us for an invitation to this meeting.

Join us either as a contestant or a member of the audience. It’s a fun game. Contestants guess hidden phrases by guessing letters one at a time. Win points as determined by a spin of the wheel for each correct consonant you guess. But you have to use points to see what vowels are in the puzzle. Contestant with the correct guess to the puzzle wins a prize.

Stitch by Stitch Quilting: Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:00 am

This group of like-minded individuals enjoy getting together to share quilting ideas and sewing projects. If you quilt now or quilted in the past and like to get together to discuss projects, or want to find out what is new in the quilting world, this program is for you.

Tai Chi: Tuesdays at 10:00

Improved stress reduction, balance, agility for all is the focus of Tai Chi.  Six week session is $30

Gentle Yoga: Tuesdays at 1:00 pm

Yoga classes weekly led by instructor Karen Gillotti.

Six week session is $30

Mah Jongg: Tuesdays at 1:00 pm

Mah Jongg is a tile-based game that is played by four players.

Come join this group for a game of skill, strategy and some luck.

Investment Club – Tuesdays 1:30 pm 

Meet weekly in the Community Room to share money lessons and tips on stocks and portfolios shared with like- minded individuals.  Stay on top of the world’s changing financial picture with guest speakers and discussions covering today’s hottest financial topics.

Pool: Tuesdays at 2:00 pm

This group gets together every week to play pool. No experience necessary. Class size is limited so sign up today.

Art  Class: Wednesdays or Thursdays at 10:00 am

Dominick Tomanelli, a gifted artist in many mediums, leads this weekly class.

$35 for a 6 week session. 

Sit n Stitch: Wednesdays at 10:00 am

Do you knit or crochet? Do you like to work with yarn? Join this group every week and work on any project while unwinding with other like-minded crafters. Novice to experienced knitters are welcome! If you need help, there is always someone to offer it.

Sittercise: Wednesdays at 12:30

Sittercise is a free 45-minute exercise program designed for use with all levels of ability including the physically challenged.

Cards and Games: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 1:00 pm

This is a fun way to spend the afternoon. This is a great time to put a group together to play your favorite game. Scrabble, Pinochle, Bridge. Come enjoy your group for a fun game.

Cribbage: Wednesdays at 1:00 pm

Cribbage is a card game, traditionally for two or four players that involve playing and grouping cards in combinations which gain points.

Moderate Yoga: Tuesday at 9:00 am or Wednesdays at 5:15 pm

Yoga classes weekly led by instructor Lara Ward.

Six week session is $30.00.

French Class:  Thursdays 9:00 am

This fun and casual class taught by Claire Tuffereau is for those who have a basic knowledge of French and want to keep that knowledge alive, and also for people who had one or two or more years of French in school and think they have forgotten most of it. $30.00 for a six week session

Blood Pressure Screening: Thursdays at 9:00-12:00 am

 Come for a free screening of your blood pressure.

Movers and Shapers: Thursdays at 9:30

This very popular class is a fun way to move to music and exercise to improve cardiovascular health, muscular strength, and a range or movement. Fee of $30 for a 6 week session.

Canasta: Thursdays at 1:00 pm

Canasta is a card game of the rummy family of games. It is most commonly played by four in two partnerships with two standard decks of cards.

Rummikub: Thursdays at 1:00 pm

Rummikub  is a classic game played with tiles where the objective is to be the first to get rid of all your tiles by creating melds, which can either be sets, three or four tiles of the same rank or runs. The first person who gets rid of all their tiles wins

Cornhole: Mondays and Thursdays at 2:30 pm

Show off your cornhole skills and have some fun. Show up and join the red or blue team. See which team is the first to score 21. There may be a slightly delayed start on the first Monday of the month.

Basic Spanish: Fridays, at 9:00 am

Tatiana Leon is offering to teach Basic level of Spanish. She will be here every Friday to help learn this language.

Kayaking: Fridays at 1:00 pm

Bring your kayak, a life jacket and water bottle. Contact the Senior Center to hear where we will be kayaking. Sign up ahead  at the receptionist desk and fill out and sign a waiver release form. Join this great group and enjoy the water this summer in your kayak.

Fair Crafts: Fridays at 1:00 pm

This group gets together every week to work on different crafts that will be sold in October at the Craft Fair.

Caregivers Support Group – First Saturday 10:00 am

Maureen Salerno, LCSW, is offering a session at the Center once a month for caregivers who need support and information. This group is for any family member or friend who cares for a loved one, whether the limitation is due to an illness, an injury, dementia or something else.
