New Fairfield Senior Center
The Friends of the New Fairfield Senior Center is a separate nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose purpose is to provide additional funds and community support for programs that benefit and enhance the lives of New Fairfield's older residents.
The Friends seek and welcome new members and fresh ideas for their projects and fundraising events. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at the Senior Center.

We are gearing up for a townwide event that will benefit all of us. One of the themes of Earth Day is “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”. You can reuse and recycle by upcycling. We are challenging you to take a used wooden chair and make it into something new and appealing. You will have 2 months to create your unique piece and find a place o display it (we can help with that). Then from July 1st through August 15th all the final projects will be displayed outside around town. All applications must be received by May 30, 2025, and all projects must be ready to display by June 15, 2025, in order to be included on the tour map.
